Always good to film and preserve railroads because ofen we don't know something will be gone forever so try to get as much into a film as possible, including background businesses and housing.

The end of another era in American Railroading the road railer was the in between transportation of trailers before it is the trailer on flat car and then after it was the shipment of intermodal containerization there was a time that we had three road railer train services the swift Road railer train once operated on Burlington Northern Santa Fe from Portland Oregon to Los Angeles California this train was discontinued in 2008 and during the twilight years of Amtrak shipping mail some mail was hauled by road railer trailers on Amtrak every time I see a swift semi on the highway I always look back to when the swift railer train once operated and before the late 2010s Triple Crown once had a small facility in Fort Worth Texas located at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe yard Located at the loop 820 overpass whenever I was on my way to the Fort Worth stockyard historical district I would occasionally see triple Crown road railer trailers in that facility now it is used for storage by BNSF

Nice view of the Hannibal Bridge with it's lower traffic density it probably is the least shot Crossing of the Mississippi made especially nice with the.NKP unit. The meeting place probably couldn't have been more desolate what you got the historical shot and that's what counts

I’ve ridden this train a lot, and this is a piece of steam age history

My special needs son finds those bi level and single level electric trains very interesting and highly underrated rail transportation vehicles and that the part of the Virginian Railroad that use to be electrified should be "reelectrified" and the departments of transportation should run these on them and on the Milwaukee Road Pacific extension that was electrified as well.

My special needs son loves the Illinois Railway 🛤 Museum! He has a dvd 📀 about it from Railway Productions and he thinks that antique streetcars 🚊 and interurbans are highly underrated forms of public transportation and all should be preserved, restored, and put back into service carrying passengers in city streets and between cities just like they use to. And the North Shore Line and the Chicago, Aurora, & Elgin should be rebuilt and used again but he does not want that to be wishful thinking he wants it to be a reality!

My special needs son really likes electric locomotives like that one he hopes that real soon or sooner than soon the rest of the line to Milwaukee will be restored and used again.

4206 is a new unit. It used to be 3004, but it was having issues in late 2023 so they bought 4206 to replace it. It definitely has a great RS3L!
